Uber Mum or Last Minute Lil?

When it comes to Christmas Shopping are you Uber Mum or Last Minute Lil?

We all know at least one mummy who has her whole Christmas shopping list done and dusted by the time she packs her little ducklings back to school in September. The Christmas list, or rather Christmas spreadsheet, is completed in March and gifts bought calmly and carefully and stored away for December. I have been this mummy, in fact I am this very year, but does it pay to be so far ahead of yourself?

I watched with rising panic as my six-year-old made yet another list for Santa last night, how many lists do they need to write? Adding a Rubik’s Cube and a robotic mouse!??! I already had her gifts organised, I’d more than hit my budget for gift buying. I’ve not let any of my family in our spare room for three months in case they realise that it has become our very own North Pole. What if my other daughter sits on Santa’s knee at the local garden centre this weekend to ask for ‘the only thing I really want this year,’ when I have the only thing she wanted in February?

What if you’re last minute Lil? Do you feel like your running about like a scalded cat? Is your anxiety rising every time an advent window opens and we are one day nearer to Christmas Day? It might just be that by not planning too early you’ve inadvertently saved yourself a whole load of worry….and money! (Quick high five to yourself)

When you tuck your little one up this evening and he whispers that the only thing he desperately wants this Christmas is a new scooter, you’ve got it covered, although if he wants a Hatchimal lord help you! If she’d love the raincoat with the unicorns just like Jemima at playgroup, you can grab yourself one of those right here. No need to organise a babysitter just so you can go out and fight the crowds of panic buyers. Instead, pour yourself a nice big glass of something chilled, get your feet up on the sofa and order it all online, let us do the hard work and deliver it straight to your door.

Whichever way we plan Christmas we all do it for the same reasons, to bring magic into the lives of others, to spend precious time together and often to make little dreams come true. We celebrate the Uber mums who like to get their planning in early, but we also celebrate Last Minute Lil. It’s perfectly reasonable to have not started your shopping yet, there’s plenty of time and there’s Express Delivery for those of us planning to wait a few more weeks!

We have lots of beautiful items in our online store to bring delight to your little ones this Christmas. Dressing gowns, pyjamas, snowsuits, bikes, scooters, wooden toys, even a little crochet donkey and so much more. We even have that coat with the unicorns that Jemima wears at nursery!

Any orders over £25 qualify for free UK shipping and all our items are eligible for free returns provided they are new, unworn and unused. We are also offering an extended returns policy for Christmas gifts purchased just to give you extra peace of mind, so go on pour yourself a glass and take a look.
